Aftaab Shivdasani's exciting journey into the limelight started at a very young age when he was only 14 months old. He had featured in a lot of ads in his growing years and did a couple of videos. As a child he didn't have a thriving acting career which left him with enough time to pursue academic interests.
It was his impish portrayals in Coke and Nestle Bar One ads that caught the creative eye of Ramgopal Varma who needed the same innocent character in his movie, 'Mast'. Even before the film was released, he had a busy schedule and a large fan following, mainly female. Mast did not do well at the box office but the initial promos teased the audiences with flashes of his cute dimpled smile. He has become a pro at using his best charm-weapon.
Aftab's debut film was Mast opposite Urmila. He got a Film Fare Award as a New Comer for this film. Then he did Kasoor opposite Lisa Rai. This was a thriller movie in which he had done a negative role. All the songs of this film was super hit. He had done lots of films like Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche, Footpath, Awara Paagal Deewana, Darna Mana Hai etc. Till now he had done different roles in his films. He always wanted to be a versatile actor. Aftab latest movie Masti is running successfully in halls. It is the story of three friends who cheats their wives.
Other movies he is having in his hand are Muskaan opposite Gracy Singh its a thriller film. And a Science Fiction film Jaane Hoga Kya
